We have never been average

Oscar Mike Moving Co was founded on September 2nd, 2009 by Christopher J. Booth — a man who, fresh out of high school at just 18, chose to raise a family instead of chasing the college party scene. While others were living the carefree life, Booth was at home wiping noses and building a future with his high-school sweetheart.

September 11, 2001 changed everything. That fateful day ignited a deep desire in Booth to serve his country. The timing wasn’t right — his children were still young and his wife of 13 years needed him at home. He waited patiently.

Years later, when the enlistment age was raised to 39, Booth — then 37 — answered the call. He shipped off to boot camp as the oldest in his platoon and quickly earned the proud nickname “Private Dad.”

It didn’t stop there. Private Dad was immediately assigned to the 10th Mountain Division and deployed to Iraq, serving alongside the finest enlisted men of the United States Army.

That same spirit of quiet strength, relentless dedication, and care he showed his family and his country became the unbreakable foundation of Oscar Mike Moving Co. We still move like family — because for Christopher J. Booth, it has always been personal.
